My name is Lauren Gibbs and I am a freshman at Purdue University. I am majoring in Interior Design. I am 18 years old. I am glad to be away from home even though it is only 35 minutes away. I like experiencing new things. I went to Europe this summer and had a lot of fun. It was a great experience. I am nervous about my first semester here at Purdue but I am confident I will do well. I read today on my professor's blog about a project called The GhostCycle Project. It is a great project to make driver's of vehicles aware of the bicyclists that are out there. The shock value is enough to make driver's aware of who is out there. So watch out!

omg! i almost ran over a cyclist (a couple actually) this afternoon on my way to campus....oops!
